Partners

Clean Up the World thanks the many organisations whose assistance enables the campaign's vital work to continue. While their financial and in-kind support is crucial, the support and participation of their employees in our activities is equally important.

Primary Partner - United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP)

Since the campaign's inception in 1993, the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) has supported the work of the many groups and organisations that take action under the Clean Up the World banner.

UNEP assists Clean Up the World's international publicity campaign through a range of mechanisms including distribution of media materials and campaign promotion through its regional office network. The relationship with UNEP enhances support to our Members, campaign outreach and environmental awareness.

Supporter - Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT)

Through its network of Embassies, High Commissions and Consulates worldwide, the Australian Government's Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade assists in broadening Clean Up the World's reach.

Staff actively promote and support the Clean Up the World campaign through regular liaison with their local communities, facilitation of outreach visits by Clean Up the World staff and participation in local Member initiatives. In addition, DFAT missions have lent support by joining as Members and undertaking their own Clean Up the World activities.
