Clean Up the World was established in 1993 and is one of the largestcommunity-based environmental programs in the world.
We unite community groups, schools, businesses, and local governments to carry out activities that address local environmental issues. We provide expertise, support and guidance to members in 130 countries across the world.
Our vision is to inspire a billion people across all continents to tread lightly, clean up and conserve the planet.

Clean Up the World has been in partnership with the United Nations Environment Programme since 1993. The United Nations Environment Programme (UN Environment) is the leading global environmental authority that sets the global environmental agenda, promotes the coherent implementation of the environmental dimension of sustainable development within the United Nations system, and serves as an authoritative advocate for the global environment.
Clean Up the World supports the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and is registered under the United Nations Multi-stakeholder Partnerships Registry of Voluntary Initiatives for Sustainable Development.
