CLEAN UP THE WORLD WEEKEND

Join us on 17-19 September 2022
to make a world of difference.

Being a part of Clean Up the World is easy – by registering an activity with us, you become a Clean Up the World Member and gain access to our guidance and support materials. Activities can include planting trees, cleaning parks or beaches, conserving water or running environmental awareness-raising and education initiatives – whatever your local need might be.

Anyone can take part - businesses, community groups, schools, governments or

simply a group of people coming together.

Here are ways you can get involved with Clean Up the World Weekend:

Organize your own activity

It's not as hard as you may think! Identify a local environmental problem, see how you can make a difference and get to work. Find out more about the site, contact people who can help, plan and promote your event.

We provide guidance and support materials to help you along the way.

If you have an idea of what you want to do, you go ahead and register the activity to gain access to all of our Clean Up the World member resources.

Volunteer on an activity

Some Clean Up the World activities will require local volunteers to help out. We will be announcing sites which need volunteers in August 2019. Sign up to our newsletter to stay informed of volunteer opportunities.

Spread the word

If you can't organize or make it along to a Clean Up the World activity, the why not use your powerful networks to spread the word? You can share local events and activities, or even spread some powerful messages around waste and the environment.
